Green Hydrogen is a clean technology. It is 100% carbon free. We can make green hydrogen by using proton exchange membranes (PEM) or electrolysis to split water with our renewable energy. Our hydropower projects at existing navigational locks and dams on a major river are high capacity factor and are ideal for green hydrogen production. Green hydrogen produced at the edge of the water has many advantages including zero cost to transport the raw material, zero distance for the renewable energy to travel and potential shipment/delivery by barge in addition to pipeline and trucks.
